This final post brings the series together.

Climate literacy, handled carefully, is not activism or overload. It’s part of doing our jobs well—supporting children’s wellbeing in a world that has already changed.

Not panic. Not perfection. Professional competence. So, what does this 'reasonable professional responsibility' look like? I propose five key components.

It even 6am yet and #PublicHealth people are on #Reddit telling people asking how to protect themselves from #Covid to party like it’s 2019.

Like they literally stated “you can party like it’s 2019”

Don’t do this. And FFS don’t mod a sub dedicated to #Covid19 support if you can’t be truthful about #science.

The decision by the hearing cmte for the #DCBar’s Board on #ProfessionalResponsibility is non-binding. After another round of hearings in front of the cmte, the proceedings then move to the board & eventually to DC’s local court of appeals, the final arbiter on whether #Giuliani should be sanctioned.
But the cmte’s decision represents a significant step forward in efforts to hold Trump attys accountable for their willingness to use the courts to promote his unsubstantiated voter fraud narrative.

Any #AttorneyEthics, #ProfessionalResponsibility or #LegalEthics experts out there in the Fediverse?

I'm looking for sources I can cite on the topic of an attorney's duty of competence.

Specifically, I'm thinking of explanations/discussions of what to do when a client comes to you and asks for advice in an area of law you're not competent in. Or they think they need what you do but you know they really need something else.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
