Researching & writing about #DesignPatents. Currently thinking a lot about the #ScheduleA phenomenon.

Trying to make #PatentFedi happen.

Curious about #ScheduleA litigation? I'll be giving a very short introduction at this event next week (which, by the way, is FREE for all law students).
Over the years, I've wondered if I should do a "Top 10 of the Year" list for design patents (like other people do for different areas of IP). But there were never enough DP developments to fill a list. This year in #ScheduleA, though, there's been so much going on that I struggled to pick just ten.

Just checking in from Chicago to say: This city is not a "war zone."

At least, it wasn't before our own federal government invaded. All the purported justifications are nonsense. Pure lies.

It's utterly bizarre to see how normal and peaceful most of the city is, while knowing that horrible things are being done to our neighbors.

You are cordially invited to the Fall 2025 Chicago-Kent Law Review Symposium, "Unsealing Schedule A."

The conference will be held via Zoom on Friday, Sept. 26.

Registration is free and open to the public: https://studentorgs.kentlaw.iit.edu/cklawreview/symposium/unsealing-schedule-a/

We hope you can join us!
