The #PiHole saga continues. Definitely a lot better, but my primary instance crashed out over night. Still no errors, just stops.

Found a message on the PiHole Discourse with someone saying that they've got the same issue since upgrading to FTL 6.5, so might not be my setup.

Though, since rotating the sqlite databases they've definitely been more reliable than over the last few days. And 6.5 had a couple of sqlite lib updates, so maybe related?

Eine Frage zu #pihole auf meinem #raspberry.
Ich wollte eine eigene Blockliste testen. Ich hab mit "touch /home/smiee/blocklist.txt" eine Datei angelegt und dort eine blablabla.de Adresse eingetragen.

Mit file:///home/smiee/blocklist.txt über das Web-Frontend hinzugefügt. Beim Update leider Fehler.
Ideen?

It's been many years since the previous time I've played #Godus and it had just two worlds and a couple of adventures or something. All were completed of course and there wasn't anything else to do apart from filling in the sea. When I got a new device, I've decided to check a bunch of old apps, including this game and it was a surprise to see two new worlds in there (added 2 years ago) and there was a watch ads to earn gems thing not working, then I remembered that I have #PiHole nowadays. #DOh

Seitdem ich auf Linux und GrapheneOS umgestiegen bin, muss Pi-Hole deutlich weniger DNS-Anfragen blockieren. Die Werte gingen von knapp 15% auf 8% runter. Der Rest stammt von der Windows-Kiste der Liebsten, ihrem Stock-Pixel-Android und dem waipu-TV-Stick (also überwiegend die Apps wie Netflix oder Paramount+). Das zeigt mir wieder, wie richtig meine Entscheidung war, aber auch, wieviel digitalen Schmutz die Hersteller produzieren, den wir einfach täglich ungefiltert fressen.

so
da mein pi-hole immer meinen server rate limited (was sich sehr schlecht mit dem fediverse verträgt) habe ich nun den systemd-resolver installiert damit die domains lokal gecached werden und nicht jedes mal pi-hole anfragen

@markvanbijnen Let's first get it working.. Turned off DHCP in the Ziggo modem and on in the Pi-hole.
In the logs and clientlist of the Pi-hole I can see my laptop's IP address coming up. So far so good.

But: nothing is blocked. It looks like the whole functionality of the Pi-hole is bypassed.

So, stil working on that...
