Interesting, they're using motorcycle riders who are ham radio operators to support a bicycling event out here (Ventura County, California).

"...I’m helping through another group (MARC - Motorcycling Amateur Radio Club) in assisting the Multiple Sclerosis folks with their event at the end of May - MS Los Angeles - Coastal Challenge. They have a 2 day event in Ventura on May 30-31. Basically a bicycle event to raise funds for MS - around the Ventura area and up to Ojai and back.

They’ve looking for SAG (Support and Gear) drivers to help out the riders - providing pumps, patches and rides for breakdowns (“sagging”). They’re even offering rental vehicles and rooms for anyone willing to help.

MARC will be running a net control alongside the MS folks and will have some motorcycles on the course. So, having SAG drivers that are hams would be a bonus - but not required.
