This time, I added battery power and charging to the PCB, as well as switching to a separate antenna, and I added mounting for the scroll ball from an Apple Mighty Mouse.

Getting closer! Now there's triggers and back/forward buttons as well. Now reworking the main PCB to use an external antenna, and to actually support a battery. (difficult to have a wireless device without a battery...)

When you build an Arduino application with the Bluefruit library - say, for a SuperMicro/Nice!Nano/Feather - and you can't create more than 9 characteristics on your BLE service:

There is a limit of 10 for the UUID128 numbers. You can increase it like this:

// set max number of UUID128
Bluefruit.configUuid128Count(20);

// start Bluefruit
Bluefruit.begin(); // 1 peripheral, 1 central

I sunk four hours into this - thank me later :)

Bought a musegear BLE keyfinder. Turns out I get a lot of false alarms with their app... In fact its a KKM K21 flashed with iTrack Firmware running on nRF52. It even still got the accelerometer on there.

With the KKM itrackeasy APP I got a lot less wrong alarms. And my wallet can play music now... like a Samsung washing machine.

But there are still a lot of false alarms.

As this thing features an #nrf52 anyone got nice Firmware to flash on there?

If I would be the manufacturer I would add some optional delay to alarms so the thing does not care about a 5sec connection interruption...
