I run a small non‑commercial network with a WireGuard uplink via Route64 and plan a second upstream (HE POP) for redundancy and BGP/IPv6 learning.
I can maintain IRR/RPKI. Any LIR willing to sponsor an ASN is welcome.

Well, there's always NAT, or NPT. But that's supposed to be the *dark ages* 20th century IPv4 solution. So how do you do it *nicely* in IPv6? The "nicest" possible approach seems to be dst-src routing (aka SADR, aka sourcedest) — this talk summarizes the situation before diving into that solution. You will hopefully come away with an understanding of how this isn't policy routing, what router features are still spotty, what RFC 6724 "rule 5.5" and RFC 8028 are, and why a Linux based system is simultaneously the best router and the worst end host in this.
Am WE mal ein paar Gedanken machen, wie ich ein #Multihoming-Setup für mein LAN aufsetzen kann.
Haupt-#Internet-Versorgung über #DSL, aber zusätzliche Anbindung über #LTE / #5G. Dabei soll DSL immer Priorität haben. Bei Ausfall der DSL-Verbindung sollen einzelne kritische Dienste sofort auf #Mobilfunk wechseln (z.B. Nachrichten vom Monitoring), andere erst nach manueller Freigabe (damit nicht ungeplant mitten im 4k-UHD-Videostream die Verbindung umschaltet), wieder andere auch gar nicht.
Erschwerend kommt hinzu, dass der Mobilfunk-Router nicht in den fensterlosen Serverraum soll und ich ohne neue Hardware auch keine VLANs zum Zielort schalten kann.
Und alles natürlich sowohl IPv4 als auch IPv6.

just came up with a humane approach to social media: this "multihoming" model we're trying with ChuuniIRC should be much better than centralized, federated and even peer-to-peer social networks.
Just to get this straight in my head: fundamentally, #Wireguard and #QUIC both support true #multihoming? 🫣
Also, both in a way support multiple concurrent "streams"? So if I take my glasses off, they look "the same"? 🤯
@uvok I considered that to do #multihoming (having two internet connections at once), because I am #selfhosting and for the fun.
