Today I voted in the #RIPE #Election

Even as a small LIR our vote makes a massive difference.

RIPE has twenty thousand members, yet only about 5 percent of members voted in 2025.

Something to think about in our countries as folks go to the polls in the future.

Voter apathy means a small minority of members can have an outsize effect on #democracy.

Be like Obi Wan commit to democracy. ;)

I'm currently looking into the proposed #RIPE charging schemes for 2027.
The category based model seems pretty good to me in regards of making the big players pay their fair share regarding their usage of RIPE infrastructure.

Am I missing reasons why we should not adopt this version?
