The latest story from #moonlitpress combines a 56 chev, a blanket, and route 66 in this drive down memory lane. Inanimate though they may be, objects become part of the lives of the people who own them. These objects carry the personal and family history of their people with them.

I'm wondering how to interrupt some analytics. We, @wordsbyterryl publish a blog on a #writefreely #fediverse server and then post about it on this mastodon server.

We get almost an immediate 50-75 hits.

I'm thinking that those are mostly robots, almost nobody clicks favorite or boost; I have gotten maybe 2 in the last 3 months and nobody follows #wordsbyterryl or #moonlitpress.

Maybe we just suck or are doing something wrong.

any ideas or suggestion would be helpful. thanks

Blessed #Beltane to all who celebrate. #moonlitpress combines our new moon article
with Beltane.
Not all of life’s most brilliant educators are working in schools. You can learn a lot from a little tortoise, about the size of a half-grapefruit, who just wants to hang out in a sunny spot and be.
Enjoy the story.

About every two week we share a #shortStory. At this April full moon #MoonLitPress has a #story of tragedy and redemption .
Terryl’s teacher paid for her tuition with his life, and she is grateful for it.
It lead to a life of critical thinking with a focus on #sustainable #food and where our food comes from.

#bookReview; a new category of #blogs from #MoonLitPress! We review and recommend "To Travel Well, Travel Light" by Mary Coday Edwards. Edwards is at once a deep thinker and deeply spiritual. This extraordinary memoir recounts Edwards’ global quest for religious belonging.

On a lighter note, for this February new moon, #MoonLitPress shares a Saturday Morning Cartoon about the pitfalls and delusions of spiritual ‘power.’ We hope you find it amusing.

I'm the bit monkey for the blog #wordsByTerryl from #MoonLitPress . I also do the graphic art work using #inkscape and we publish using #writefreely.

This article shares a witchy Imbolc ritual as a bonus posting. It is a prayerful recognition and celebration of the subtle turning of the seasons. Spring cleaning, if you will, in a spiritual sense.

This offering from #MoonLitPress explores #Lughnasadh, the first of three #pagan fall harvest festivals. It stands between high summer and the burnished death of fall, and is a time to consider what we’ve put our energy into this year. Flying Lessons is a wish for the prosperity of fledgling #birds as they make their way into the wider world, while the attendant #poem celebrates the beauty of this season of change.
