Big Blu GnuAdmittedly, I never really could give #Duolingo my stamp of approval, due to its methodology used for teaching languages, but inundating the app with ads just to upsell a subscription is not an improvement. I guess I'm just a sucker for getting lured into a #proprietary piece of software whose standard of teaching is not fully disclosed. In my defense, though, that was long before I found out that I love #FOSS.

Glisten 2.1 has big improvements to punctuation and sentence splitting. It pushes the speech-to-text results through an LLM, producing a much better transcript.
delanthearBeing as Duolingo has fallen off the wagon recently, I'm trying other free language apps. Busuu includes things like this which mean absolutely fuck all to me.
