FIRENZE (ITALPRESS) – Fiorentina ed Atalanta si dividono la posta in palio al termine di una tipica partita di fine stagione, fra errori, sbadigli e due reti arrivate in maniera casuale: la prima grazie ad una papera di Sportiello su conclusione di Piccoli, la seconda su autorete di Comuzzo. I due allenatori vista che la gara non mette in palio decisivi, danno spazio a molte seconde linee. Vanoli sceglie Christensen in porta, Rugani e Comuzzo in difesa, Fabbian e Brescianini a centrocampo e Mandragora in regia, rinunciando fra gli altri sia a Fagioli che a Pongracic. Dopo quasi trent’anni di musica e successi internazionali, gli Aqua hanno deciso di chiudere la loro carriera dal vivo. La band danese, diventata famosa negli anni ’90 con la hit mondiale Barbie Girl, ha annunciato lo scioglimento attraverso un messaggio pubblicato sui social che ha messo fine a un percorso iniziato nel 1995: “Dopo molti anni incredibili, abbiamo deciso di chiudere il capitolo degli Aqua come band dal vivo. Gli AQUA sono stati una parte enorme delle nostre vite e insieme abbiamo avuto la possibilità di vivere più di quanto avremmo mai osato sognare. Abbiamo viaggiato in tutto il mondo molte volte, incontrato innumerevoli persone meravigliose, cantato con milioni di voi e condiviso ricordi che porteremo con noi per sempre”.
Gli Aqua hanno anche spiegato la scelta di fermarsi come una decisione consapevole, arrivata nel momento giusto: “Quando si sta insieme per così tanto tempo, si impara anche quando è il momento di proteggere ciò che si è creato insieme. Ora sembra il momento giusto per dire addio, mentre i ricordi sono ancora vivi e l’amore per la musica, la storia e l’uno per l’altro rimane intatto. Dal profondo del nostro cuore: grazie a tutti voi che avete fatto parte di questo viaggio negli ultimi 30 anni. Da qui in avanti solo amore e gratitudine”.
La carriera
Il gruppo si era formato nel 1995 e aveva raggiunto il successo mondiale con l’album Aquarium del 1997, trainato proprio da Barbie Girl, diventata un simbolo della musica pop/dance di fine anni ’90 e tornata alla ribalta anche negli ultimi anni grazie al film Barbie. Nel 2000 era arrivato il secondo album Aquarius, che aveva confermato la popolarità della band. Nel corso della loro carriera, gli Aqua hanno pubblicato altri brani e continuato a esibirsi, arrivando a vendere circa 33 milioni di dischi in tutto il mondo. Ora, dopo un lungo percorso fatto di tour, successi e revival, il gruppo ha scelto di fermarsi definitivamente, lasciando però un’eredità musicale che ha segnato un’intera generazione.

The Danish band, famous in the 90s with the worldwide hit “Barbie Girl,” announced the dissolution through a message posted on social media that ended a journey begun in 1995: “After many incredible years, we have decided to close the chapter of Aqua as a live band. AQUA has been a huge part of our lives and together we had the chance to live more than we ever dared to dream. We have traveled all over the world many times, met countless wonderful people, sung with millions of you, and shared memories that we will carry with us forever.”

Aqua also explained the choice to stop as a conscious decision, arriving at the right time: “When you are together for so long, you also learn when it is time to protect what you have created together. Now it seems like the right time to say goodbye, while the memories are still alive and the love for music, history, and each other remains intact. From the depths of our hearts: thank you to all of you who were part of this journey over the last 30 years. From here on, only love and gratitude.”

I'm not really into #football or the #Danish #monarchy, but #KingFrederik used to study at the university in my town (#Aarhus) and it's kinda cool to know that he made it over here from Copenhagen to watch what will be the first #SuperLiga win for our local team, #AGF, in 40 years. How do I know? Something about accumulated points and winning the previous match.

Because if this, preparations have been made, bands booked for the afterparty and the King cleared his schedule to drop by. Even if you're not fan of the monarchy, he's still a pretty cool and down to earth guy, king and all. I'd buy him a beer any day.
