Auē! Another #duolingoFail in my #Hawaiian lesson today, “they” can be “lāua” (they two) or “lākou” (they, three or more) Without context to force one or the other, either should be accepted  #duolingo

Again with Duolingo marking things wrong because they have an apostrophe instead of an ʻokina in their answer for this exercise!!!   #okina #apostrophe #duolingo #duolingoFail #calendar

Being as Duolingo has fallen off the wagon recently, I'm trying other free language apps. Busuu includes things like this which mean absolutely fuck all to me. If you're going to use grammatical concepts in your language apps, you're going to need to teach them too. I barely know what a noun is. #languageApps #languageAppsSuck #duolingoFail
