My current goals for 2026 involve maintenance, since I've developed a number of practices that are really serving their purpose. So, I plan to:
-Keep #sewing my #MeMade wardrobe, utilizing modifications and techniques that are working well for me.
-Continue with #LanguageLearning in #한국어 #Korean, using a variety of learning materials and opportunities. I hope to have a 3-sentence dialogue with Korean speakers within the next couple of months.
-Keep using my #AppleWatch stand reminders to do various household tasks, including dishwashing.
-Continue monitoring my eating, BP, and exercise, with an intention of continuing to lose weight without hunger or deprivation.
-Keep planning #travel with a multi-week #camping #roadtrip, within Canada. Continue to plan towards a return #korea trip in 2027.
-Join social and volunteer activities with like-minded people at least weekly.
-Keep reading at least 2 books/month.
-Continue watching and sharing #kdrama, with a goal of understanding.

Question for #Korean speakers: Is there a difference in how men and women pronounce “hwaiting”? I watch a lot of K shows on Netflix and everyone calls out hwaiting/paiting all the time, but to my ear, when men say it, it sounds like “hai tee”. When women say it, they enunciate the “ing” sound. Is that right, or normal, or have I just misunderstood something?
