Look what landed on my arm today. While working on my balcony garden, I felt this on my arm, at first I thought it's worm, but then I saw it.

It's a baby praying mantis.

It's so tiny (4-6mm) and so fragile. Put it on one my plants that has a few aphids on it so it can have a fiest.

I feel so lucky. They are really rare here.

Oh happy day...

Finally got to pick some tomatoes.

Already ate one and going to use the rest in a smårgos with feta cheese, ham and lettuce.

I forgot how delicious homegrown tomatoes are, compared to store bought. I'm going to have enough tomatoes for the whole summer.

I may have to put couple of them in 20L sack of soil as they need more root space.

First tomato harvest of 2026

Found them hidden under the leaves of the pumpkin.

It seems like I'm growing 6 different tomatoes on the balcony.

Picked up one of the black tomatoes today, but it's not ready.

PS. I had no idea they are orange tomatoes.

I have yellow and black tomatoes on my balcony!

Morning, garden! Keep on growing, little plants. Keep on growing.

Going to make some soup with a fresh garlic and fresh leak from the balcony.

Well that's tea sorted for tomorrow, carrots and beetroot from the #garden with couscous and steamed salmon.
