Tron: Legacy completely ignored all realistic issues. Portraying free software as a teenage prank is just facepalm-worthy at best.

Right now, the genAI bubble is inflating, while tech bros are doing their best to overthrow democracy worldwide. Dedicated developers and FOSS might fight an epic battle to secure our future. And what is Tron: Ares about? Good and evil megacorps are fighting to acquire an algorithm. 🤦‍♂️ Ignorance, fear of the subject, or deliberate distraction?

It is shocking that even a 2004 film, I, Robot, raises more relevant questions about how AI and closed-source always-connected software controlled by a mega-corporation can take away people's freedom.
