The old Bishop Mills on the River Kelvin in Glasgow. While this building was only constructed in the 1830s, there have been flour mills on this site since at least the 17th Century. I particularly like the wheat sheaf finial on its gable end to signify the mill's purpose.

The dome and finial of Partick Cross Mansions in Glasgow.
Partick has a great collection of traditional red and blonde sandstone tenements that are always well worth checking out. Just remember to look up to see their full beauty.

The old Bishop's Mill on the River Kelvin in Glasgow this evening.
Built in the mid 1800s for William Wilson, miller and grain merchant, it was originally powered by a water wheel. It was converted into flats in the 1980s.
I particularly like the wheat sheaf finials on the gable ends to signify the mill's purpose.
