Love this trompe-l'œil style mural on the ground floor of an exposed tenement gable in the Linthouse area of Glasgow. The adjoining tenement, which would have completed a residental block enclosing an internal back court, was demolished to make way for the southern entrance to the Clyde Tunnel, which opened in 1963.

Love this painted glass number on the fanlight above the close door of an early 1900s Tollcross Road tenement in Glasgow.

Early 1900s red sandstone tenement on Marlborough Avenue in the Broomhill area of Glasgow. I like the slight crenellation on the top of the end tower of the tenements in this block. The curved sills under the central windows are also a nice touch.

Good morning, Glasgow. It's a foggy start to the day, but it does make for some atmospheric photographs of the city's tenements, like these ones at Partick Cross.

Tonight on Saltoun Street in the West End of Glasgow. The nearest tenement was designed by Adam and Short, and was built in 1897, while the more distant ones were constructed in the 1880s.

There has been a pub on this site since at least the 1880s, when it was the Old Stag. However, the current built, known locally as the stag building, was constructed in 1905. Alongside the pub at that time was a chemist shop (Carmichaels Chemists) and a dairy (Dougie’s Dairy).
