This is a shot in the dark, but are there any Anders/Fenris shippers out there in the Fediverse who remember a fic where Fenris gives Anders something he doesn't realise is part of a courting ritual mages used in the Circle. There's a rhyme with a series of gifts you give, indicating the seriousness of your intentions. What starts out as a joke becomes real.

What's a good fender for a 29" wheel with 2.9in/75mm-wide tires? (Also, where could I buy them, shipping to the US?)

Almost exclusively commuting & road-riding, fenders would mostly have to handle wet roads & occasional puddles.

I've seen vids on how to make them & don't need that. It's not that it's beyond my skill level or even that I don't have materials (E.g. I have a discarded roll of roofer's flashing in the garage), but I don't really have time to make them.

Where's the mud when you need it? The holloway was dry but the green lane didn't let me down, providing a couple of kilometres of slop to test out my new mudguards.

I broke the old guards removing them in the summer (yes, my mechanic skills are that bad). But I never really liked them anyway. Their replacements are full metal ones from Portland Design Works and they’re amazing: no rattles or wobbles, great coverage and minimal splatter.
