The idea that you "grow out" of EDM/Rave culture is a myth. 🚫
You don't grow out of it, you just stop settling for low-bitrate streams and $10 earbuds.
For me, the rave has shifted from the warehouse floor to a high-fidelity local setup. It's about digital sovereignty, owning your library, bypassing the algorithms, and hearing every layer of a complex synth through a proper DAC and good headphones.
Whether you’re at the back of the crowd by the soundboard with high-end earplugs or at your desk with a custom Easy Effects setup. If the BPM still hits, you belong there.
Music is frequencies. Frequencies are math. And math doesn't have an expiration date.

Tässä muuten varsin mainio ohje Easy Effectsin säätämiseksi jytäkämmän kuuloisen äänentoiston aikaansaamiseksi: https://wwmm.github.io/easyeffects/guides/guide_1.html
Ohjeessa puhutaan läppärin kaiuttimista, mutta arvoja sopivasti muuntelemalla tuo soveltuu muihinkin bassorajoitteisiin äänentoistolaitteisiin. Etenkin tuo Multiband Compressor -osio on sellainen, jota en olisi itse keksinyt.
sound wasn't being passed through with Steam Remote Play, the solution was to exclude the game from Easy Effects (i use it for an equalizer that affects every game/software capable of producing sound; and microphone noise suppression)
📝 Quick and cheap way to improve output audio quality on (some) Linux (distros)
This assumes you're using Pipewire for your audio demands. Also, YMMV, depending on your hardware and the codec and encoding parameters of your music files. [...]
Was #EasyEffects just assimilated into the #KDE Ecosystem?
I just got the upgrade with the Qt switch and it is really nice!
Designwise I am kinda in between KDE and GNOME, big fan of Brise and the work-in-progress icons though
EasyEffects got changed and is basically a KDE app. Could do with some TLC but honestly as a KDE guy I'm happy, lol. Or content, rather.
