Lilbits: 8TB SD cards are coming soon (likely for a small fortune)

It’s been more than two years since SanDisk announced plans to launch 4TB SD cards based on the SDUC standard. They haven’t actually arrived yet, so take this next part with a grain of salt, but during the Computex show in Taiwan earlier this month, SanDisk indicated that those 4TB SDUC cards really are coming soon… along with even larger 8TB cards.

We did it. A Samsung A12 in Cuba, sub‑800 kbps internet, no custom ROM, no paid VPN. I replaced: browser, search engine, keyboard, office suite, gallery, camera, phone, messages, contacts, calendar, music player, file manager, notes, calculator, voice recorder, and app store.

Ny mobil
Min mobil står snart til udskiftning, bruger android.

Men med al denne snak om suverænitet, big tech osv.
Føler jeg mig splittet, mellem at købe en med stock android og blive der, eller købe feks volla phone med ubuntu touch, eller en fairphone med degoogled android.

Jeg ved ikke med hensyn til de apps vi nu bruger i hverdagen, dvs MitID, bank apps, easypark osv.

Jeg har også overvejet at købe en volla phone dpm daily driver, og have en med stock android i skuffen, til brug for de apps hvor det nu er nødvendigt.

Toll, dass ihr einen APK-Download für Android-Nutzer ohne Google-Konto anbietet – das ist ein wichtiger Schritt.

Leider verlinkt ihr auf APKPure, eine Drittplattform mit bekannten Sicherheitsproblemen. Nutzer die bewusst auf Google verzichten, tun das oft aus Datenschutzgründen – und landen dann ausgerechnet dort.

Mein Wunsch: Bietet die APK direkt auf eurer eigenen Website an, so wie es z.B. @signalapp macht. Das wäre wirklich vorbildlich. 🚴
