What are the options for ungoogled Android over on #Fairphone 6? I've seen there's an unnoficial Lineage OS build, but I'm not sure if that's any worse than being official from Lineage? There's Murena too, tho its CEO is an asshole it seems.

Tja. der erste Eindruck bei NFC ist tatsächlich ernüchternd derzeit. Die einzigen beiden Devices mit Hardwaresupport für NFC sind #Fairphone 4 mit #Android 15 ohne Google-Account.
Mit aktivem NFC und #KeePassDX kann ich eine Test-Datenbank mit Challenge-Response als zweiten Faktor nicht öffnen unter Hinweis auf einen fehlenden Treiber. Dazu gibt es wohl ein 3 Jahre altes Projekt #ykdroid in #F-Droid, welches ich auch ganz naiv testweise installiert habe. Das greift aber nicht und bei #Android bin ich sowieso schnell an der Grenze meiner Fähigkeiten und der Leidensbereitschaft.
Für den Moment geht es da wohl nicht weiter.

@the_drifter @Veronique_D Tim /e/OS is still releasing updates for the FP3. I've installed their "de-googled" android on a spare phone, and am really surprised how well it works. Battery life and performance is definitely improved.
It's not for everyone, but if the alternative is to scrap your phone, I would definitely give it a shot.
