Scenes from a Bank Holiday Monday walk along the Brede River to Winchelsea - destination Charles Palmer Vineyard to stock up on local wine (we only drink excellent local English wine).

Lots of dragonflies/damselflies out today. Managed to photograph just three ... plus a kestrel.

Die Kleine Pechlibelle kommt oft nur an neu entstandenen oder angelegten Gewässern vor. Dort kann die Art ohne die Konkurrenz größerer Libellen zwei Generationen bilden. Das Männchen auf dem Foto ist sehr wahrscheinlich Teil der zweiten Generation, die ab Juli geschlüpft ist.
