Off the mark at last for this year's #dragonfly season - Azure #Damselfly in the car park at RSPB Pagham Harbour when I stopped to see the Slender Thistle colony they have there. #invertebrates #UKWildlife #Sussex #photography

gestern hab ich auch _schon wieder_ eine
Frühe Adonislibelle
Pyrrhosoma nymphula

it was my first time seeing damselflies in tandem positions, so even though I don't usually take these scenes particularly, I took some. like the previous post, the first two are Paracercion melanotum, the third seems to be Paracercion calamorum, and the fourth might be them too (a bit difficult to identify because of its angle), also the damselflies flying around look like Paracercion calamorum 👀 #damselfly #nature
lots of damselflies were flying around the warm, sunny waterside! difficult for me to identify the species, but the first and second photos are probably Paracercion melanotum, and the third and fourth photos are likely Paracercion calamorum...? 🤔#damselfly #nature
