- Veronica spp, a mat-forming weed I pull up
- been used as a cure-all tea since the Romans
- edible
- everywhere because our Victorian forebears loved it in their gardens.

Six months ago, I resumed my Incultures project to broaden it. I asked several artificial intelligences to generate images of urban weeds based on their names and a botanical description. The result: a large amount of pseudo-photographic material depicting plants that are biologically plausible (with a few inaccuracies) yet often visually far removed from the species requested. I then rearranged these into painted synthetic portraits of each plant.
