It's bed decades since I last wrote anything in #Commodore assemby, and the first time I wrote one on the #Commodore16 / #Plus4. Amazed it worked, even if it only used standard kernel routines.

Been in the #mancave today playing #Elite (very bably!) on my expanded #Commodore16 ( #CommodorePlus4 ) . I can't get over how great this game is, even 40 odd years on. I had played this in the dark and distant past on the school #BBCmicro but think I was too young and didn't have the time during wet lunch breaks to appreciate it. If I had this at home on my #C16 (I know I couldn't) I don't think I'd have ever left the house. So probably a good thing I was stuck with Roller Kong. #RetroTech

Time for a #commodore16 run.
I need a power connector new on pcb because is a bit "forced enlarged" and sometime power goes down, but i can't find anything for replace, suggestions?

The #Commodore16 does work with my SD2IEC when I power it from its tape port (via adapter).

For the #CommodorePlus4 I was told that cassette not working was due to a bad CPU, so I got me a replacement and now that works.

Now to get a proper PSU. Or just an adapter cable for the aftermarket C64 PSU I got.

@hkz Nice! I did get PCBWay to build me the Fixteen, and when one of them didn't work (the danger of working with second-hand parts), the original author pointed me towards this expansion instead:

Apparently there is some software that can do fun things with the extra memory banks. (There is also a 256K version)
