New video for Patrons: FPGATED for Commodore 16 and Plus/4

The Commodore 264 line of computers included the C116, C16 and Plus/4. They were build around the TED video and I/O chip. Now there is a modern replacement: The FPGATED by Istvan Hegedus promises high compatibility, together with additional features. Let's test it and see how compatible it is!

Finally released the firmware for Pi1551! https://github.com/ytmytm/Pi1551

This is a Commodore 1551 cycle-exact drive emulator for the C16, C116, and Plus/4 family. It is based on Pi1541, but reworked for the TCBM/1551 world.

It supports D64 emulation of 1551, including switchable ROMs and 1551 RAMBOard expansion.

Like with TCBM2SD you can also read D71/81/80/82 disk images or reading the files directly from an SD card.
It ALSO can playback TAP files through the tape port.
Other features are HDMI/OLED UI, switchable ROMs, and 1551 RAMBOard expansion.

Hardware-wise you need a RaspberyPi 3, TCBM2SD and one of two interfacing options - a small PI1551-HAT or full-size PI1551-III.

@Kroc @moses_izumi An even more extreme example: plus4world has over 7000 releases listed for the humble Commodore #plus4, which is just a footnote in computing history in most countries. The funny thing is that a typical Plus/4 owner would consider #C64 folks as puny gamers, because their computer didn't have a built-in monitor, hence it wasn't nearly as hackable out of the box. 😉
