A fragile combination of decades-old laws, norms, & jungly bureaucracy has so far prevented repositories such as these from assembling into a centralized American #surveillance state.

@wackJackle i always keep that in mind... i definitely think there's a big bubble that needs to be popped but i'm terrified at the possibility that the clown car that is the trump administration will be in charge during the collapse.

i think that combinations could be legitimately civilization ending (e.g. i feel like there's a small but non zero chance they nuke iran or something to distract from the depression they created in the US)
