@joshsutphin #ClassActions are a horrible way to solve things, because they allow violators to just pay up and not fix things and undo bad actions...
- If the #penalty is only a #fine / #settlement, it's only illegal for the poor!
The more breaches there are, the harder it is for current and future plaintiffs in lawsuits to show that any harm they experienced was directly due to that particular breach.

@devopscats I guess more that they expected to get sued by customers with a judge mandating them to undo that shite and compensating said customers as well as declaring in writing to not do that again.
