I'll have to look carefully before I move off. My neighbour's cat likes to lie in my driveway, sometimes right up against the front wheel.

I'm pretty sure that the cat would move with the sound of the doors closing and people getting in, but with an EV there's no sound before you start moving — the safety sound only starts when you are under way.

I'm 72, not in great physical shape & overweight, but my general health is okay.

That said, I'm in the process of cleaning my kitchen cabinet doors. Anyone who's done it understands it's a chore from hell that generally requires standing on a step-ladder. I shouldn't be climbing on any ladder.
