Out for a stroll on the Bay of Fundy on Friday. The temperatures were nice but the wind was ferocious (well for one person in the party). I love to be out in adverse conditions. It reminds me of a poem by Hamlin Garland I learned in school. I will put the poem in the alt text. The landmass in the mist to the right is Blomidon. Molly Mac loves the cool air.

Views over the Minas Basin
Cycling off the beaten path can bring great rewards in the #AnnapolisValley #NovaScotia . There are some spectacular and unique views to be seen by taking the less travelled back roads (watch for the potholes of course) and even going along the edge of a field. #Blomidon is seen at the end of the clip, along with my travelling companion @stevenkennard .

Beautiful warm ride yesterday, to Grand Pré and beyond, across the Dykeland, to Evangeline beach at low tide. Much of it was below sea level, and flat, as if we were in the Netherlands. Rather too many ugly RVs on the park there, but no one around. The #RailsToTrails path was cinder and maintained, we saw an eagle near her nest on the trail. Worth the ride.
