On 16th June 1897, she anchored off North Pier, where in a #storm, the #anchor dragged and caused the ship to run aground. The ship was #battered by the #waves causing #critical #damage. The ship lay on Blackpool beach until 16 months later, when the wreck was finally moved.โฉ
