"Plymouth City Council has joined the growing ranks of public bodies defeated by the humble BCC field after exposing the email addresses of around 500 home-schooling families in a mass-mailing mishap.

The blunder comes barely a week after City of York Council disclosed a similar mistake that exposed the email addresses of hundreds of disabled residents, suggesting that some public sector workers remain engaged in an ongoing battle with one of email's oldest features."

The Good News: The #Massachusetts House yesterday passed a bill aiming to bar politics or religion in determining how and if books are banned, and giving students the right to "receive information" including school library materials determined to be "educational and age-appropriate."

The Bad News: My State Rep, John Gaskey, voted against this bill. If you're #Plymouth #2ndDistrict, remember this little factoid when voting in the primary.

Scheint ein bekanntes Upstream-Problem zu geben, dass #Plymouth ein englisches Tastaturlayout erwartet hatte:

Der Fix dafür wurde in Arch eigentlich mit Plymouth 26.134.222-2 ausgeliefert.
Bei mir scheint das #CachyOS-Repo erst 26.134.222-1 ausgeliefert zu haben. Jetzt auf die -2 direkt aus den Arch-Quellen gewechselt, aber das Problem persistiert.

Wie viele tausende CachyOS-Normalos gerade wohl vor ihrer kaputtem LUKS-Entsperrmaske verzweifeln.

Ein #Plymouth-Update gestern auf #Arch hat mir meine #LUKS-Eingabemaske zerschossen. Die Entsperrung klappte dann nicht mal mehr nach Esc-Drücken. Erst durch Live-System und Nachschlauen, was so an Updates reinkam, kam ich überhaupt auf Plymouth. Dann in Grub mit Drücken von "e" die Parameter "quiet splash" aus der Kernelzeile gelöscht, damit klappte dann wieder LUKS-Entsperrung und Boot.
