#Cloudflare is once again gatekeeping legitimate browsers like #PaleMoon, #Basilisk, and other #Goanna applications. Apparently refusing to implement something like WebDriver or Selenium which makes the browser a robot, doesn't matter at all to a supposed "anti-bot" challenge.

I don't think CF has ever fixed their #Turnstile breaking in #SeaMonkey either... It must be embarrassing that Google's reCAPTCHA does a better job than Cloudflare at this point in determining whether a browser is legitimate. Yes that Google which is notorious for user-agent sniffing. In the worst case scenario Google just manages to be annoying instead of not letting the user in at all.

Can webmasters please not assume that HTTP/1.1 = bad scraper and think it's okay to block them indiscriminately? Browsers like #Dillo, #Lynx, #Links, and #NetSurf still only use HTTP/1.1, and I doubt they will ever adopt HTTP/2 and HTTP/3 due to how complex those two are. Hell I'm in #PaleMoon with HTTP/2 disabled, and along with #Basilisk their HTTP/1.1 implementation outperforms HTTP/2 and HTTP/3 for my internet connection since they preserved HTTP pipelining (which mainstream dropped because I guess they have skill issue trying to tune their pipelining implementations).

Hello everyone, I'm looking into Basilisk, which is a program that allows you to have conversations with multiple LLMs and handle them all in one place if you have API keys for those LLMs. What I'd like to know is if there is a way to import my entire conversation history with, say, ChatGPT into Basilisk. There's very little documentation right now, and I'd like to learn more in general about how to use it. What are, as another example, conversation profiles? This program looks really interesting; and as I consult an AI regularly for different things and keep an organic conversation going, I think I'd find it very useful rather than having to navigate through the web all the time. Thanks all. #AI #LLM #Technology #A11y #Screenreader #Blind #Basilisk.
