Launching my BashCoreGee OS live (bashcore.org) through my custom Raspberry Pi gateway, I think I’ve found the perfect privacy combo.
Tested all four vanilla browsers on Gee: LibreWolf and Mullvad block 97% of domains out of the box, Firefox 77%. Tor Browser hits 20% (different story).

Tried the original BashCore today, booting the RT kernel inside QEMU.
Used this command:
qemu-system-x86_64 \
-m 16G \
-cpu host \
-smp 8 \
-enable-kvm \
-drive file=BashCore2602-Maruta.iso,media=cdrom,readonly=on \
-net nic,model=virtio-net-pci \
-net user \
-vga virtio \
-display gtk,gl=on
It boots and idles at <250 MB RAM. Impressive.
A user contacted me saying #BashCore ISOs were downloading at near 0 MB/s from his Brave browser.
Same connection, same network… but with wget it downloaded at full speed.
If a download feels stuck, try:
wget -c -t 0 URL
Sometimes it’s not the server, browsers, extensions or routing can get in the way.

OS Purity vs. Browser Reality on #BashCoreGee 🛡️
My Pi-hole test confirms: while the #BashCore OS is dead silent at idle, opening stock #Firefox immediately triggers a flood of tracking requests.
As shown in the image, Google Analytics, DoubleClick, and Tag Manager are instantly blocked by my Pi-gateway. Gee gives you LibreWolf, Tor, and Mullvad for a reason. Don't let a "stock" browser ruin your OS privacy.

Tested BashCoreGee on a privacy box (Raspberry Pi + Pi-hole + Quad9 DNS).
After 20 minutes: zero blocked domains. Only harmless Debian/AppStream traffic observed.
BashCore doesn’t track you. No telemetry, no background noise.
