you could get 1tb nvme for like 90 bucks for crap brand or 130-140 for a samsung nvme - now everything is double. ai demand even though it is huge will get priced in, lines will get added, capacity will grow on supply side, tariffs will ease, mkts will normalize but when will this happen - likely over the next year, the refurb mkt will experience waves of surplus/retired parts. they hang on to parts for longer now but thy can't hang on forever, new parts are more efficient, they have to stay competitive
