Greed cannot be acted upon (eg taxed, killed, tortured...) much like "AI". Same for #capitalism.

You'd do a better service by following the money.

For example: "AI didn't take your job. #Altman, #Amodei and friends did." or "AI didn't take your job. Company shareholders did."

This way, people get a clear actionable advise.

Providing abstractions to blame is in every oppressor playbook: follow the money, directly target the people in power, however unconfortable the rich' propaganda made us feel about doing so.

@blog defence-in-depth is still the most rational stratagem and it is cheaper than "AI" but requires architecting software correctly from the get-go with domain and process knowledge, the very #epistemological nature of which is largely alien to #LLM driven automation approaches. in other words, it requires human judgement by its very nature. the agentic approaches are imitative only, the LLMs do not and cannot "understand". #Lecun knows this as do #Hinton, yet #Amodei threw us all under a bus.

Nun, lt. FT Weekend traf sich gestern Susie Wiles, die Stabschefin Trumps, mit dem Anthropic-Chef Dario Amodei.

Denn zumindest einige beginnen zu begreifen, dass sich mit KI-Modellen wie Claude Mythos die Infrastrukturen ganzer Konzerne, Branchen und Länder ausschalten lassen.

Anthropic's positioning of usage red lines get a close examination in this piece https://www.lawfaremedia.org/article/the-situation--thinking-about-anthropic-s-red-lines and it is good.

Suggestions for refinements include adding more specificity to it's definition of "mass surveillance" and adding details scoping out the use cases it objects to.

Anthropic's arguments re "autonomous lethal warfare" could also be further clarified given its statements indicating research on autonomous systems is ok, but using current AI technology is not appropriate b/c it is not reliable enough.
