Good morning everyone. I'm up early early since the clocks have skipped forward. The parrots are also very confused by the change and Ziggy is sitting on my hand saying "It's okay" to herself over and over. Probably not helped by the fact that when I turned the tap on in the kitchen this morning it made an almighty squeal and then started leaking water. So now I need a plumber, on a Sunday and my regular guy (reasonably priced) is busy with lambing season on his farm 🥴
Ziggy has now started making laughing noises in between saying "It's okay". A parrot version of a nervous laugh I suppose 😊 To be fair, it was a shockingly loud squeal the tap made so early in the morning. Not a way I would have wanted to be woken up either. It hasn't stopped Toby from immediately tucking in to his breakfast mind you 😂
We had a lovely time playing co-op BG3 with my grandson yesterday, although the difference playing with a young one is marked by his hurry to get things done. Grant and I watch all the cut scenes, even if we have seen them before, while Connor just skips through them. Grant rolled a paladin this time and managed to break his oath within about ten minutes because Connor rushed us into a fight with some tieflings that he could have talked his way out of. Definitely interesting playing with a kiddo ☺️
Plans for today are to find a plumber and work on my crochet order. I may watch some more videos of people playing Stardew Valley too.
Have a very lovely day, whatever you get up to 🤗
Good morning everyone 🌞 I'm up early with the parrots today and have just settled down for a wee Ziggy cuddle after cleaning and feeding them all, in a bit of a rush as I woke up half an hour later than I should have, my internal clock all messed up after the non long lie yesterday.
Ziggy has started greeting me with kiss noises in the morning after I lift her cover, so I must be doing some right 😊 I always get a good night kiss every evening when I put the cover down too. I must find some black thread and fix her cover though. It has a couple of rips in it which means she peeks out when she's supposed to be sleeping, and being such a bossy boots she always has a comment or two when I'm trying to settle Jadie down, generally of the "C'mon!", hurry up variety 😂
It's co-op BG3 day , but we're starting a new campaign today because my eldest grandson is joining Grant and I. He's back from Uni after having a wee operation and is recovering at home, so I thought it would be a nice distraction for him. And to be fair, I am really excited to be playing with him too 😊
Have a very lovely day, whatever you get up to 🤗
Please excuse photographs from the back of a bus, but this is what the north-west corner of Lambton Road and Bridges Road, New Lambton NSW is like in Autumn: parrots. Lots of parrots.
There's a bunch of Afrocarpus trees there, and sulfur-crested cockatoos love munching on their cones. They also like ripping up the grass to get to the tasty bits below.
“I was out there in the evening with him bonking my head. He’s quite heavy. He goes on for a very long time. He grunts the whole time he’s doing it,’ she said.“
Sadly she was head fucked for naught. Sirocco Produced no sperm.

Good morning Fellow Travellers on the Galactic Spiral Arm 🌌 I was supposed to have a long lie today, but after hearing lots of "Ouches!" from Grant downstairs as he was trying to give Ziggy her medication, I had to get up and sort her out. He says something spooked her as he tried to give it to her initially and then she just refused to take it after that. So, no long lie for me due to Ziggy seeing ghosts again 🥴
Mind you, Grant says he distinctly felt something brush his arm round about the same time. So spooky 😱
Once I have properly woken up with coffee - lots and lots of coffee - I will crochet again today. I did not watch ER yesterday after all, but ended up watching YouTube videos of people playing Stardew Valley again. My grandsons have taught me well 😂
Right! Ziggy has gone in to eat and my big coffee mug awaits, and probably some Stardew Valley while I'm at it 😊
Have a very lovely day, whatever you get up to 🤗

Good morning everyone ☀️ Ziggy and I are very happy today is not a work day and we can finally relax and have a long cuddle session. In fact, Zigs is so happy she is currently running up and down my arm making her laughing sounds and generally being a little clown 😊
She, and the other parrots are still ignoring the java tree, although Toby did touch down on it for a brief second while in the process of a mad panic flying session around the room last night which ended in him crash landing under Ziggy's cage. The trigger for the mad panic flying was that Ziggy toddled up behind him and bit his tail. To be fair, the big clumsy galoot had jumped right on top of her earlier and she was probably just getting her own back 😂
I may have to add more toys to the tree. Probably some wee treats in the bowl too.
Plans for today are to have some coffee and Stardew Valley when Ziggy goes in for her breakfast and then work on my next crochet order later. I'll probably watch some more ER while I'm doing that. Grant keeps at me to watch The Life of Chuck, which he says is brilliant, but he also said it made him tear up and I'm not sure I'm in the mood for that.
Attached is a photo of one of my crochet orders from a few weeks ago. It's a little baby car from a kid's cartoon. Which reminds me - I really need to update my website again as it's been ages since the last time 😁
Have a very lovely day, whatever you get up to 🤗
