I heard some unfortunate things about the #zenbrowser creator and the lack of moderation on their discord community and I don't feel comfortable following that project anymore. It's too bad because I was looking forward to having a nice replacement for Arc.

Zen Browser is an Open Source FireFox browser that competes against Arc; a browser that I am searching a replacement for. A browser that I have enjoyed since it’s launch for the MacOS. After the recent news and drama about the Arc browser, I decided to look for alternatives out there. Zen Browser is often mentioned as the replacement for Arc. Plus it’s even Open Source, something I Really got excited by when I read this. They are growing and you will see the browser being recommended more often. I was eager to try it out and to dive into its community.

Odysee removed LBC bid option from the text/file upload pages (when editing an existing post, the option is still there)
(No article about it)
(So they finally started their migration away from LBRY, and embrace the Arweave ecosystem, with the new crypto service which requires a separate account, doesn't seem that trustworthy... I mean, it's ok for me, as long as they allow to upload content without it, I'll just ignore it. Not sure how content promotion will work though, e.g. will my content still appear on the top of the Tech category, but if not, I'll rather take the loss of views, than registering a crypto service which I can't find the source code of, can't really trust (in case you're a new viewer, the Fossery Tech project stands for FOSS, only uses FOSS for everything, except for a few OS drivers and news sites). If they decide to restrict uploads, I'll probably make a separate LBRY channel.)

There's one thing I do have to say: while I prefer Arc Search to Firefox Mobile on iOS, it's much the opposite on iPadOS

Review: Zen Browser (beta)
Zen Browser 1.16.1b is available for download, and although I've heard some chatter about it, like many people I hadn't gotten around to trying it. Here are my initial thoughts on it.
I gave Zen Browser another try...
Sorry, but it's not for me. This whole minimalist UI thing enfuriates me to no end, ESPECIALLY that cursed hamburger menu. Leave that thing on mobile where it belongs.
