To enable it, go to Settings ⇾ System, scroll down to the bottom, and select the option to start using Brave Origin for free on Linux. A restart will be needed.

Yeah, I’ve heard all I need to hear from you. You’re one of those people who will argue that Brave Browser and the beliefs of the people behind the company are separate things — the so-called “that’s different” argument. It’s not different, because those are the people you’re empowering — Nazis and the like.
Ok people. Which tools are not problematic to use? I switched to Kate for coding, GrapheneOS for mobile, Navidrome and Symfonium for Music and Brave for browsing, also Kagi for search.
I am hearing bad stuff about the people who run Kagi and Brave. What else are you using to stay private/secure?

Solving the Brave profile error
I've been enjoying the Brave browser lately. It's refreshing not to be bothered by annoying pop-ups and to know that my browser is blocking trackers and ads. I've also appreciated using Brave's Leo AI for research. However, when I opened a Brave session today, I encountered several persistent pop-up warnings indicating a profile error. Endless loop when accessing google maps
In my Brave browser I blocked all possible google cookies, not allowing Google to save any data. But even with my Google allergy I accepted that I still need Google Maps. With this setting everything was fine, I just had to go through the Google consent page any time I went to Maps, clicked on rejecting cookies, and that’s it. But since today, the page goes into a loop of constantly recharging. If I turn down the shields, the page loads, but when I select an option for the cookies, it loads again. So, I cannto access Google Maps. I tried everything, even allowing all cookies again, deleting caché and so on. Nothing works Any help here? Thank you!
