Okay all, convince me why I should switch to KDE Plasma or your desktop environment of choice from XFCE when I get a new computer today or tomorrow to replace my hilariously broken 13-year-old MacBook.

I'd also love to see any recommendations on whether I should switch from Ubuntu back to Debian after years running Ubuntu.

My primary uses for the computer are browsing the internet and writing furry smut / twine games (Using Geany mostly). I would love to be able to run some games, but I will probably just set up dual boot with windows for that since gaming is so much easier with Windows.
