An #arrest for attempt #murder rather than simply causing #injury by dangerous #driving is relatively unusual - and in line with #Norfolk and Suffolk Constabulary's own policies suggests this #collision in #Norwich between a car and cyclist was *deliberate* (at very least there appears to also be #DUI and both #alcohol and #drugs playing a factor)

The headline got changed from the URL - I was slightly disappointed not to read of reports or see footage of of #Sweeney style chases across #London on #MetPol #e-bikes against #MobilePhone #robbers on similar two wheelers

In reality all they are doing is using more #surveillance with #drones to catch some of the #thieves and shaking down others on types of #ebike that aren't legal for #UK roads (which the old bill was previously turning a blind eye to)

👍 I love this! It's clever, a great use of professional design to improve city life for non-drivers! (Move back to see the numbers.)

Couldn't find anything in English, so here's a translation:

"On the newly paved Diepenbrockstraat in Amsterdam, visually narrowed lanes … Seen from a distance, they form the number 30, alternately upright and upside down. Helps cars to keep to the speed limit. At least it does for me!"
