Juggling With EggsFeeling torn this morning…one of the kids has had their name pulled out of a hat to sing at #Norfolk County Hall for the new councillors.
When their school did very well in the Norfolk County Music Festival a few weeks back, which led to this invitation, the political make up of the council was somewhat different to what it is now - overwhelmingly #Reform.
I was glad their music teacher was ambitious for the kids and got them to sing Adele’s James Bond hit, Skyfall. It now feels ironic.

“There’s a deer trapped in an escalator” was not a phrase anyone at Hillside Animal Sanctuary in Norfolk was expecting to hear when staff at a Marks & Spencer department store in central #Norwich called last Tuesday.
“In #Norfolk, deers often get themselves in trouble,” said the sanctuary’s founder, Wendy Valentine. “They get stuck between walls and sheds, and in gates. It’s quite common for deer to get trapped … but ‘trapped in an escalator’ was a first.”
