Es sollen indonesische Soldaten eingesetzt werden, die viel Erfahrung bei der #UNIFIL gesammelt haben. Wenn das alles so kommt, dann war wohl alles für die Katz. Denn UN-Truppen können nichts durchsetzen. Sie werden die Hamas nicht entwaffnen, sie werden höchstens von ihr entwaffnet.
Wer das nicht glaubt, der schaue sich die lange Geschichte der UNIFIL im #Libanon an. Da fragt man sich schon, für wen die dort gearbeitet haben. Für die UN oder eher für die #Hisbollah? Oder ist das etwa dasselbe? Was die UNIFIL in 50 Jahren Einsatz nicht geschafft hat, würde wohl die #IDF in einem Jahr erledigen. Oder früher, wenn man sie denn lassen würde. Und das spricht wohl Bände.<<

UN peacekeeper wounded by Israeli grenade in south Lebanon
Earlier this month, UNIFIL said Israeli drones dropped multiple grenades near peacekeepers providing security for workers clearing rubble left from the war with Hezbollah.
In September, UNIFIL said Israeli drones dropped four grenades near peacekeepers.
Israel has routinely violated its November 2024 ceasefire agreement with the Lebanon.
