David AllanNo season of mists and mellow fruitfulness just yet – feeling almost summer-like on Sunderland's coast in North East England.
Current forecast for the rest of the week and coming weekend is looking pretty decent too.
This view of my local seafront is from just north of the clifftop Lifeguard Hut, taking in Roker Pier and Lighthouse at the mouth of the River Wear and entrance to the Port of Sunderland.
The only giveaway that this is not high summer is the much lower altitude of the sun now that we are a good couple of weeks past the autumnal equinox.
