honestly... this is a win. I'm a lot more patient to get something right, and having a helmet makes me feel secure in still going all out once warmed up
i guess its still tricky for me to know when and how to place my footing consistently. for the longest time I didn't realise I was supposed to try have my heels off the deck most of the time, so now it feels weird when i try front shuv or heel anything 😭
switching to a smaller deck has taught me this lesson though, but now my old 8"25 feels a lot more comfy but also... heavier!
my front side shuv is slowly coming together. sightly allowed my front toes to bleed off my board and it made a huge diff
