Since 1995, all women in Norway aged between 50 and 69 have been offered free mammography screening every other year (the costs are Nkr 387 (about € 35)). For those who do not live in major cities, the mobile mammography unit therefore visits their area. Last week, the mobile mammography unit came to my village and will be staying here for a few weeks.
