DEI Dancers - FIGIT
Meet FIGIT, a rather temperamental sort of being, who as you might have guessed, is a bit hyper. They can be full of glee and mirth in one moment, then fretful and inconsolable in the next. An expressive being capable of great emotions, yet tiresome if your energy level is not matched with them. They thoroughly enjoy catching various objects in their mouth - the more difficult and ungainly the better!

into the garden - twilight tranquility
This is the second in a series of paintings that illuminate the transformative beauty of the natural world. To visually express how total immersion into the deep greenness of gardens and wild spaces can create a profound sense of peace; restore wonder; and generate calm in an increasingly chaotic world.

“Suzanne Valadon was a French painter and model of artists. In 1894 she became the first woman painter admitted to the Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts. Valadon painted still lifes, portraits, flowers, and landscapes that are noted for their strong composition and vibrant colors. . . She was also a cat lover and often painted her cats, especially her favorite, the chubby Raminou.” — Zuzanna Stanska
