I discovered these transparent cans in Japan for the first time, now they exist around here too.
This is Fresh Strawberry from Germany. It sits somewhere between a soda and carbonated water with added taste. A lot more sweeter than any local Finnish variants of the same concept.
Experimenting with a batch of rye needing to be finished. ( My standard rye-bread is always British/German inspired.)
Photo is 100 % rye-bread with egg, baking powder, spices.
No fat, little bit melasse.
Turned out well, I dare say.
British question. Touring over the UK from the '70's, we are sure we had these types of unsweetened but very tasty breads ( cakes ?) in the beginning.
We did not see that much later, or it was too sweet.
Anybody?
Tried Monster Ultra Paradise recently.
I liked it, but couldn't discern exactly what the flavor was supposed to be. So, I looked it up.
Apparently, it's supposed to be "...kiwi and lime with a hint of cucumber." I didn't get any hints of cucumber or lime, but I could see kiwi. Kind of.
It was good, though. I liked it.
Would drink again.

Every country has their "Sprite". Faxe Kondi is the Danish take on the matter.
Makes me feel a bit nostalgic for the age when Finland had a local one too, before Sprite and 7up took over the market.
Here's something I discovered in the US. This Mexican brand has plenty of other flavors too, but the cola is my favorite. No bullshit, just sugary goodness. I'm glad some got imported into this corner of the world too.
Friday. Time to break out the hard stuff.
Yep, it tastes exactly like the lollipop. This one is from South Korea.
Now that I think of it, what's with every brand having some variant of strawberries and cream? A soda flavor FOMO?
I guess I was unaware, but you can get maple flavoured Pepsi.

Dad inadvertently picked up a case. I didn't read the label and thought it was off at first. But it does have a maple taste to it. I don't drink pop much, but it's not bad.
