LA NOTIZIA: Ebola, allarme rientrato per due casi sospetti al Sacco. L’ira di Bertolaso: “Andava evitato l’allarmismo”

“Gli esami virologici eseguiti presso il laboratorio di riferimento dell’Ospedale Sacco di Milano hanno dato esito negativo”. È quanto ha comunicato ieri sera l’assessore regionale al Welfare, Guido Bertolaso, in riferimento ai due casi sospetti, segnalati nelle prime ore della giornata e ricoverati con sintomatologia compatibile con infezione da virus Ebola. I pazienti, un 31enne e una 33enne, sono risultati negativi sia ai test per l’Ebola, sia a quelli per la malaria e per i principali virus respiratori attualmente monitorati.
I due insieme ad altri cinque connazionali erano parte di un gruppo di cooperanti internazionali appena tornati in Italia dopo aver “prestato soccorso in Uganda per circa tre mesi”, aveva spiegato Bertolaso, e “durante la notte avevano manifestato sintomi come febbre alta, nausea, vomito e diarrea con una leggera sintomatologia di carattere neurologico”. Ieri sera il sospiro di sollievo.
“Le condizioni cliniche dei due soggetti restano sotto osservazione. Alla luce dei primi risultati diagnostici – continua Bertolaso – tra le ipotesi attualmente considerate vi è quella di un’infezione di origine batterica a carico dell’apparato gastroenterico”. Ma l’assessore ha puntato il dito sulla fuga di notizie, che avrebbe creato allarmismo: “Se questa mattina fossero state rispettate le corrette tempistiche e procedure – conclude l’assessore – si sarebbe potuta evitare l’attivazione di un allarme mediatico che ha comportato un notevole dispiego di risorse e attività operative”.
Pregliasco: “Grazie al Covid, ora siamo più preparati”
Per il virologo Fabrizio Pregliasco l’attivazione del “monitoraggio sanitario nei confronti di alcuni soggetti rientrati dall’Uganda dimostra come il sistema italiano di preparedness infettivologica sia oggi particolarmente attento agli scenari internazionali”.
“In questo momento l’attenzione globale è rivolta all’epidemia da virus Bundibugyo nella Repubblica Democratica del Congo, un contesto che richiede sorveglianza rafforzata soprattutto per i viaggiatori provenienti dalle aree coinvolte o limitrofe”, dice il virologo.
“Oggi disponiamo di una rete nazionale molto più preparata rispetto al passato, grazie all’esperienza maturata durante la pandemia da Covid-19 e ai continui sistemi di coordinamento tra ministero della Salute, Istituto Superiore di Sanità, Regioni e centri di riferimento come Sacco e Spallanzani. La situazione viene monitorata costantemente anche a livello europeo attraverso l’Health Security Committee della Commissione Ue”.
“È quindi corretto mantenere alta l’attenzione, ma senza creare allarmismi: allo stato attuale il rischio per la popolazione italiana resta molto basso e il sistema sanitario è pienamente operativo per identificare e gestire tempestivamente eventuali casi sospetti”, sottolinea Pregliasco. Il rischio per il nostro Paese, rassicurano anche dal ministero, “rimane molto basso”.

Il Fatto Quotidiano: Electrolux, presidio dei lavoratori: “Da Urso un atteggiamento da Ponzio Pilato”

Il piano di Electrolux e i licenziamenti restano sul tavolo, in attesa di un nuovo vertice al Mimit il 15 giugno. Almeno per ora dalla multinazionale svedese non c’è stato alcun passo indietro, al di là della richiesta di ritiro da parte dei sindacati e dei lavoratori in presidio fuori dal Ministero, della contrarietà degli enti locali. E di quella del ministro delle Imprese del made in Italy Adolfo Urso e del governo, secondo cui il piano da 1700 esuberi in Italia è “irricevibile“.
“Non negoziamo con la pistola alla testa”, ha commentato il segretario generale della Fiom Cgil Michele De Palma. Per poi rivendicare al termine del vertice: “L’attuale piano evidentemente porterà alla cessazione della produzione nel nostro Paese perché attiva da subito un dimezzamento della capacità produttiva in Italia attraverso il trasferimento dei prodotti e con il rischio di un ulteriore peggioramento della situazione. Non accetteremo mai un piano che determinerebbe la fine dell’elettrodomestico nel nostro Paese. Lo stato di agitazione e le mobilitazioni dei lavoratori continueranno fino al 15 giugno”.
Se Urso e il governo si dicono contrari, dai sindacati però c’è scarsa fiducia nell’azione del governo: “Noi siamo stati sinceri, gli altri che hanno detto di no al piano vedremo cosa faranno“, ha attaccato Rocco Palombella, segretario generale Uilm. Per poi attaccare: “Urso? Da lui ho percepito un atteggiamento da Ponzio Pilato, più che un ministro determinato”. Anche De Palma attacca: “Electrolux oggi avrebbe dovuto dire al ministro Urso che avrebbe ritirato il piano, invece non l’ha fatto. Per questo credo che se entro il 15 giugno questo non accadrà, dovrà essere Giorgia Meloni a entrare in campo, deve chiamare l’amministratore delegato. Questo è un piano contro la produzione in Italia”.
