Easily my favorite screamo record. I also have the clear vinyl version, but I think the blue marble is the better looking of the two. I had all 4 versions of the second pressing at one time. I didn't bother to get any of the subsequent pressings. Still awesome after all these years.

This EP was released in between The Frailty of Words and The Satellite Years. Listening to the recordings in sequence was refreshing because I heard the band's body of work becoming polished. Sadly for fans, they weren't able to stick together.

I got into Poison the Well after hearing The Opposite of December, a style-influencing album for me. This 10" isn't nearly as good, but their original vocalist is on this recording. I bought this primarily for it's value as a collectable. Plus, it's orange/peach colored.

NotSteve_I created my first (tiny) Python library! PyMicroConf: a tiny TOML config handler
I was working on another random side project and wanted to define configs like Pydantic-Settings without actually pulling in all of Pydantic into my project, so I started writing a custom config class which turned out generic enough that I could break it off into its own thing.
One of the main things I wanted is to be able to load a TOML file for settings but to also be able to override each config option with an env var. I also really like Pydantic’s use of Annotation[..., ...] type-hinting so I did something similar
I don’t really expect it to be used by anyone else but I’m excited about putting out my first PyPi package and figured I’d share it here :)
