God, I hate #AppleMusic recommendations algorithm. I like certain genres of #music and listen to them a lot, I fave songs, I actively search for artists performing that genre. But no matter, Apple Music would never surface that genre for me. It would recommend some generic “Dance” rather than what I actually listen to. It takes a lot of listening to make it recommend even remotely related music but it decays in a few days of me stepping away. Its curated playlists also suck. Like, this genre is not exactly obscure. It is pasts its heyday but there's a lot of older music in this genre and new music is being made at a decent pace. But there's no playlist for it. There’s “Música Catalana”, “First Nations Australia”, “Halk”, “Hörspiele”, and other regional/national variations but very few actual genre playlists. Songs also disappear from Apple Music. Quite a few songs I added to my library are not available any more. What is the point of this? This fucking sucks! We were promised access to all the music and discovery, instead we’ve got this.

I can't believe that in 2026 I’m seriously considering digging up my iPod Classic and maintaining an #mp3 collection. 😔

Am liebsten hätte ich einen netten #Player der sich ganz dezent ins #Tray neben der Uhr rechts unten verkrümelt und mich nicht nervt wärend er abspielt. Ich habe bisher #audacious was schon in die Richtung geht, aber ich sehe den Player dann gar nicht mehr und muss das #Desktop app immer anklicken. Welche #mp3Player nutzt du im #Systemtray und warum gerade dieser?

Meinung | ARD Sounds

ARD Sounds ist ja schön und gut, ich verstehe zwar den Grund der Umbenennung der Audiothek nicht, kann ich aber mit leben. Was jedoch nervt ist das nicht nur umbenannt wurde, sondern das es auch darüber hinaus Änderungen gab. So konnte ich z. B. bei der Audiothek problemlos und ohne Umwege die URL mit der MP3 kopieren um sie hier im Fediverse direkt zu verlinken und das geht jetzt nicht mehr. Natürlich gibt es auch da wieder Tricks und Wege, aber schön ist das nicht.

Da die ARD als solches keinen eigenen Fediverse Account hat, sondern nur einen Server bereitstellt, wäre was schön wenn mal jemand dieses Feedback weitergeben würde. Z. B. die @tagesschau
